The Econ 1 Guide to Life

"Economists have a rather dismal reputation for being selfish, venal egoists, especially among those who look in from the outside. With all due respect to the fact that a little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing, I have always believed that at least one economics class should be part of any proper liberal education, and not just because economics is essential to the understanding of government policy.
